Description
The Spectral Lexicon is a spell book or list of powers of sorts, details how you can channel the power you absorb when defeating monsters in the 2D6 Legendary Dungeon.
Spectral power flows throughout the Legendary Dungeon, and you gain Spectral Energy Points by defeating the creatures that lurk within its depths. You can also earn these points through various other events and situations during your adventure. Record your Spectral Points (SP) on your character sheet and spend them throughout your journey.
Players most commonly use Spectral Points to channel powers that can aid them in different situations. Gems can enhance these abilities, as their elemental properties react with the spectral energy to create additional effects. Each power explains the benefits of these enhancements, but using a gem in this way always consumes it. Some powers also require specific components or conditions before you can cast them.
You can activate combat-related Spectral Powers before combat begins, as described in the power’s rules. Using a power in this way does not cause you to lose first strike. Beyond casting powers, you can also spend SP to gain permanent abilities, enhance items, and increase your base HP.
Spectral Points play a vital role in surviving the dungeon, so keep your lexicon close at hand throughout your adventure.
