2D6 Dungeon Lair Expansion Vol 2 – the adventure continues…
Most mine shafts that are found in the land have collapsed and cannot be entered. But the Ancient Mine Shaft was well established and has a complex network of deep rooms on three levels. These abandoned locations are feared by locals and can be a place where subterranean creatures have penetrated or sought shelter and must be cleared to remove the threat to the land.
In the west of Adrumar, in the region that borders the Heartland, are the Basins of Adrumar. They were formed by an earthquake many centuries ago when rock formations were revealed by sinking sands. They are a network of open top rooms set in uneven sandstone chambers sculpted by Kaladear herself during the creation of the world.
2D6 Printed Creature Cards work alongside 2D6 Dungeon, a classic-style dungeon crawl, print-and-play, roll-and-write game built for solo play. In the game, you explore randomly generated dungeon rooms, battle dangerous creatures, collect treasure, and gain experience as you work toward becoming a legendary adventurer. Every dungeon and adventure offers a different experience, making each journey unique.
You play as an adventurer with a rare quality that sets you apart from others. After hearing rumours of a nearby dungeon, you search for its entrance and finally uncover it. Now you have the chance to make your fortune. You know the dangers ahead will test your strength and resolve, but you believe you possess the skill and determination needed to become a legend.
This is the second expansion of Rad Zone Totality and is designed to be used in conjunction with the core rules. It includes the search matrix for the Exhibition Centre and the building map. All the search matrix references for the map are included n the expansion, so this is a totally new location and map for your survivors.
The Exhibition Centre search matrices are listed first. Search modifiers do not apply to all tables in the matrix: guidance is provided in the title of the table. Some of the tables are designed to increase the random nature of searching so may point you to another table. In the centre page and at the back of the book are the maps. They included large and smaller formats; giving two print options.
Situation
You have discovered a large building which appears to be an Exhibition Centre. There could be useful loot inside, but you can see from the outside that there has already been some looting and it looks like there may even be people living within the structure. However, there could potentially be supplies and handy equipment for the bunker.
You may now select the Exhibition Centre when out on mission!
The world faces a terrible apocalypse. Without warning the sun’s radiation spiked to alarming levels and under this relentless and deadly barrage humanity succumbed. People fell ill, millions died, populations moved underground into fortified Rad Bunkers. Many plants and animals perished, and society collapsed. Food and clean water were rationed until people began to starve, and martial law was replaced by irradiated outlaws and bandits roaming the surface in their pain induced craze.
Rad Zone Totality is a roll and write, print and play, set in a harsh dystopian future where you manage a group of survivors. They live in a Rad Bunker and strive to keep their home stocked with food, water, medical supplies, fuel, equipment and raw materials. They must go on dangerous missions, salvage these much-needed items from the city and at the same time avoid bandits that roam the land in their radiation induced craze. On top of this they must be quick to avoid taking a dangerous dose of radiation.
